Luck > Skill = good?

So the way I see this new system, you're better off being a lucky noob rather than the most skilled unlucky veteran ever. If you can just keep running into good stuff, farm out int; you'll be way ahead of everyone else even if they work their asses off with bad luck. I've spent like 8~9 hours running around raiding ant hills, catching bugs, fishing, etc. and I've totalled a whopping 4k? 5k? woo. I -barely- got boatmaking by going straight for it on an alt...

I'm honestly physically exhausted (barely slept...) and I'm betting some noob who just started the game is breezing through things with good luck :x

Does this get easier? Once you start hunting, does the LP roll in? I -realllly- liked this game in W4, and I -really- want this to work out... but I'm pretty sure if things don't pick up with hunting; I'm saying goodbye.

PS: Not trying to whine, if people like this setup, power to you.. Sorry if people already posted this kind of thing, I didn't see anyone put it quite this way.
Signed,
that guy who did that thing same as the first II

I guess it's just test and see. So far I made a 10kish of LP.

Raised int to 24, so I can keep long timers (Like Cat's gold, Itsy Witsy Web, Primitive Doll, and Toy Chariot). The rest is filled with Cone Cow, Dandelions, and the Ants I may or may not get. Just trying to always have something (even if it's low as crap) there getting "fast LP on low ammounts".

Ants seem to be the "imba thing" so far, so even if killing a fox/boar/bear doesnt give LP straight out, their curiosities will be good as hell.

The point is that life is equally sucky and hard for us all. Stop being so jelly.

The new system is rather balanced toward lucky people. It's going to be extremely hard for me to just get yeomanry. I think that Joftar should update it so that you still get LP from building things, otherwise this is balanced toward people who can
A: play 24/7 (zombies)
B: are really lucky

I'm glad that soil botting is eliminated, but still...
Edit: maybe Joftar can lower the skill costs a bit now that Lp is harder to come by.

Well. I got the normal LP for doing everything once.
My client crashed at some point, when I came back online I got LP for doing everything again.
Before both server crashes me and my friend tried relogging at different points with no chance to get all the LP again.
Also, my client crashed another time in the meanwhile and again, no LP gain. That's why I said it was only abusable once. Unless they found a workaround to get it to work more than once, but I dont think so.
