The game hates me

as i was going down the river in a boat my window closed and i got a message saying "haven error". this has ahappened before and its just a D/c.

this time however i proceeded to hear the initiative point sound the the punch sound, the the punch sound again... after a long pause i heard the character screen music.

all of this with no windows open while looking upon my desktop. i listened in horror as, what was apparently a bear/ boar, mauled my character and killed them apparently from the boat in the middle of the river.

I am rattled because i finnally found some awesome curios (empress, lady mantle, etc) and now have to restart with nothing and btw you dont get LP from picking up items the second time around... =(

The game hates everyone equally.

In world 4, my friend died every day for a week to boars.

You'll get the exp a second time around if you don't inherit. That's the main downside.

For future reference, kill the Java process immediately if you suspect/know that it is still running in the background.

Ive gotten rapped by ants about 3 times now thanks to lag.

Killing java does nothing. If you don't press "Quit" or "Log out" on the in-game screen your character will stay there for about a minute tops after closing out the window.

And yes, ants suck. I drowned because of them in w4 >>

kill java and reopen haven and hearth and there's a chance you can get on and save yourself.
if you die at least you wont hear yourself die, that's just wrong.
