[modding] Transparent Object. (for experienced modders)

Postby mvgulik » Wed Mar 16, 2011 10:03 am

- Don't have a list with experienced modder's. ... ergo. (new message)
- Previous topic seemed the wrong topic. ... ergo. (new topic)
- Modding is not playing. ... ergo (The In...)

Looking for some info on the trick to make tree's transparent.-> see some of the screen shots in the Epic screenshot's of world 5 topic,
I tried to do the same by just modding the alpha channel on the Res images ... on a graphic level that worked, But that also turned the objects un-clickable. (oops)

Figure some additional Res editing is needed (looking for info on what). Or ... is, I hope not, some client editing needed for this to work?
---
O yea. If its Res only depending ... sending me a (working) modded res will probably do the trick to.

Ok, update.

Looking for a way, Res mod limited +if there is one, that allows you to interact with partial transparent area's of objects.
Or confirmation that this is possible ... or that this is not possible.

Seeing a number lot of 'FF' in the png.flag files ... one of them might be related to this ... later (as quick fix/workaround worked).
