So me and my friends have been avid players of W4 for a month or so, and were quite excited with the world reset.
We hit the ground running and began exploring immediately as the server came up. Searching for some form of water, we managed to find a cave first. And then another. And another. and one more! After that we found a nice lake nearby, with another cave. We picked there to settle and have been since.
We've set up an excellent base, in our eyes. We have plenty of storage and a surplus of food (Mostly apples), a small field waiting for our crops to grow and my nature to kick in for us to continue farming even more. A timberhouse just outside the cave for storage and some sleeping space. A kiln running and pumping out good QL bricks for our Smelter. A small roundpole fence around our important things. We haven't set up our Palisade yet due to being amongst cliffs and are working on getting enough leather for all the cornerposts we're going to need. Even then it'll need fairly large claims to protect some of the 'sades.
Found a small ore node, so we've been mining from it. Unfortunately none of us have fully industry yet so we've been gambling on getting it smelted. No luck so far. Our miner was hit by a cave in, doing 150 damage. (100 SHP, 50 HHP). So he's out of commission until he heals a bit.
Our explorer will wander off and bring back WWW's, rabbits, and some exotic plants every so often.
I ask my fellow hearthlings... What the hell should I do right now?
