I think they're not improving the game we all want to play, because they're playing a game they want to play.

So, who's winning?

Europa Universalis 3, the big, sandbox-y RTS that allows one to tinker with world history, much as his greyist of eminences jorb has done here. Unfortunately, this is not the new map we have been waiting for. Excuse me while I find my torch and pitchfork.

I prefer to take to the battlefield instead of watching my ass grow doing a desk job, but to each his own.

Things are just more interesting that way.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

Mount and blade and its mods are pretty fun...
But when it comes to time sinks.. nothign beats EU3. You just have to keep playing and playing, theres always stuff happening, so much to do...
I've played a lot of EU3:IN [in normaine: the expansion] in the last couple weeks, wasted a lot of time playing it.

You obviously don't play roguelikes and ASCII gamesImage.

Anyone who plays Unreal World can understand how much time it would take to do this.
