World 5 is way more newbie friendly THANKS !

Postby Keyalha » Sun Mar 20, 2011 1:26 pm

I just wanted to say thanks.
I am a former ATITD player and startet in late World 4 where i was sorta overwhelmed and confused.
The new LP System and early tech tree makes things so much more understandable and learnable i just really appreciate it.

So you have a happy new player who keeps playing good job ! :)

just a little thanks from a player who finally found his new mmo

You're very welcome. :)

thanks :)

I think the streamlined what you have is what you can build off system just makes more sense to a more " order " like type of player like me :)

Ah ATitD I used to play that for a little bit. Were you like me? One of the ones thinking "If only some game used a similar crafting system but also had combat and easier travel/trade" ?

I actually just take the combat as part of it but i like the death system around here which is really harsh and unforgiving makes you beeing way more carfuel.

For now im still on the hunt for rabbits and taproot to get fishing / food as im nearly starving :)

ATITD was the community what was sorta selfish and bad, and nothing one could do about it.

If someome kicks me off here i can bash his brain out of his head ( has its pros and cons ). :)

Ok seems i got robbed while i was looking for fish, as i dont have the skill to claim land yet.

Loss was sorta replacable been one Rabbit Fur ( which is currently the most worthwhile item i had ) and some small things like plates and stuff.

Dont get why a robbery is worthwhile for that, altho the loss is not much to replace it still seems odd as i just met 2 persons an hour ago while on travel.

It happens. Some people just want to be as aggressive as possible to discourage others from settling in their area, as they don't want anyone near their resources.

Yeah i actually also prefer quietness thats why i moved on and destroyed what i could from my own camp before doing so.

Some people tend to like stealing griefing and stuff it happens but still the game is too awsome to not continue playing just because of a jerk :)

Just protect your wealth before you start stockpiling meaningful amounts of it and you should be fine =)
