Just thought I'd throw this out there. I've been playing the game 2-3 weeks now, it's awesome and occasionally quite laggy. I threw them $5 by paypal. It's nothing big. But I'm sure, if more people do it the game experience will only get better.

Quite the nice gesture and I'm sure it's well accepted. The problem is that every time they upgrade their equipment and servers, another thousand or so people decide that they should join and we're back to square one again. Ah well =)

I'm waiting for a month to see if this curiosity system works out, and if it does I will be donating a whole lot.. the lag has been horrible lately.

I think the lag has been bug based on the new curio systems. I noticed the lag spikes reduced hugely after two of their big bug fixes. But still... if 1/4 of the 1000 people gave 5$...

They leave soon anyways so not real a big problem except in the first few days.

I've heard this statement elsewhere about another game. Every time the devs fix some of the lag... players pile up even higher until it lags yet again.

And then they all start bitching about the system lagging again.

Meh, if we stop the lag and lots of people join, then this already packed 5x5 grid gets even more packed with newbs. So you can see the downside. Although if we donate, maybe the DEVs will figure out a way to stop this influx of newbs. You never know.

The lag could be not because of a number of players, but because of some bugs/glitches too.
