What the hell is the point in tresspassing?

Just wondering what the fuck the point is in having the tresspassing skill exist considering I can do practically all everything involved in it besides from looking through peoples things which is equally pointless.

tresspassing allows you to interact with things on claims. for example, opening a door or container, or lifting something.
