Cumbria!

Postby Projeear » Thu Mar 24, 2011 8:44 pm

So, work took me off to the illustrious lands of the North, of England, today. Mannn, that shit was beautiful. Lake District, no less! If you visit England, forget London. Cumbria all the way!

At one point, we had to drive in a van around the edge of a cliff, around a mountain. Single Lane. Sheer drops down into the trees.
The pics below of the lake district itself, at the bottom of the set, are when we were mid-way up said mountain.

Shit was so awesome. <3

We were actually IN the clouds at this point - low clouds, at least, but nethertheless! Took about 10 minutes to get to the other side, just fog everywhere. Your ears were popping from the pressure.

I thought of throwing something stone-like with something leather-like at this goat, but I was afraid of any of its friends nearby raping the van.

And then a wall I liked.

Reminds me of Ireland.

Nothing describes the beauty of the outdoors better then "shit was awsome".

Looks nice!

'fraid not. I did spot Itsy Bitsy Spider, but I'm NOT carrying that around! *shudder*!

On-that-topic: My older brother used to adore spiders. He'd find them and put them in his pockets and take them home. Mother would go to wash his coat, and tonnes of spiders would come out the zipped pockets!! Freak!

Edit; This is when he was at school, btw, as a kid :P

Tomorrow I'm off to Enfield or some such place.

ACTUALLY, hands down on a promise, there was a sign pointing to Camelot. A road sign. =|

Well, on second thought, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place.
