100 (Dumb) ways to die

So I was just sitting at my table, eating some Rabbit meat, when my character suddenly keeled over in a haze.

Too late did I realize, through our Ring of Brodgar wiki, that one can actually die from leeches. (lolwut)

I spent the next 5 agonizing minutes, screaming at my monitor, "GET UP!! GET UP YOU STUPID MONKEY!! DONT DIIEEEEEE"

Thankfully, my character recovered. This would not have been the first time a seriously dementedly stupid death would cause me to ragequit, likely to come crawling back in a few weeks to feed my addiction further.

So, I'm asking the forum members to share their stupid deaths, all of them, as many as possible, to populate this list. I'll be taking the cream of the crap and throwing them up here, on post #1, for all to laugh at, or cringe, depending on your experience.

Maybe once they're done, I'll start a hand-drawn comic about all of it. Similiar to Skippy's list of 213 things you're not allowed to do in the military (for those poor unfortunate souls that have not read this comedic gold, you can find it here.)

Another time, in another thread, I complained about how I was in a boat, attempted to pick up a log (WHILE IN MY BOAT) and was told by the console I needed to turn on swimming for this to work. Puzzled and Naieve, I turned on swimming, tried again, and promptly sank to the bottom of the Havian Ocean without so much as a chance to attempt to cancel my action. I tell you this, only because I'm starting the list with "Death by floating log"

I'll start.

I accidentally starved my character with 1.4 million LP to death. Was doing some work plowing fields or something, was barely in the starving spectrum of hunger, and then went over to my girlfriend's place for the night without logging out. Came back 10 hours later to an empty character select screen.

I also imagine this list will encourage alot of /cheerupemokid/ for the ragequitters. Worry not young lads, somebody, somewhere, has died in a more stupid way than you.

I bought unarmed fighting (the skill that gives you Punch) in W4, and thought that since i had an offensive skill I would be able to take on some basic animals.

Mouflon herd chain-aggro taught me otherwise.
