about 5 or 10 minutes ago now, i was just boating along picking mussels when i go afk for a sec to watch something on t.v, when i come back there is a dude who said hi to me, then rammed the shit outta my boat, until it was really red, at that moment i sped off down the river like a rocket, no wanting to lose my aurochsen sitting in the boat with me, i go about 10 min before i slow down a bit to see if he follows me, well he did, of course i lagged and he destroyed my boat, so i swam to shore like you do, and said "if your going to kill me, at least fight me fairly"
to which he replied "no" and took a shot and missed, so i ran like shit and made it to well placed unclaimed house, which got me out of sight long enough to break combat and hearth home.
then lol'd at guy for failing to kill the easiest to kill person in the game.

my question is, why dont people fight properly anymore, i was only wearing a vapntreyiu, and some leather pants/boots made from rabbit, for looks, and only equipped a sling and stone axe, and this guy had a sword and sling, and steel looking armor, but still chose to try and shoot me.
what a puss.

anyways i've seen and heard about a fair bit of pvp action this world, i guess you're just having bad luck.

yea, i managed to get a few good fights in, but that char is dead now, and atm i only have a UA of 20 something so i bet if he reads this he's going to be pissed of

in W3 i had a lot of good fights with people < i lost more than half of them but so what, they at least fought> in W4 i fight at all <sitting in my cellar, makeing wine> and this world at the start, like i said i had a good few fights, but in the past month or so, probably more, all i hear are stories of people using bows and slings to attack people next to them, when they could have more fun by having a good scuffle, and now it happend to me, it also slightly annoys me that it dosn't give people that much of a chance to fight back.

Why would you ever fight a fair fight when you could have the advantage. I think he's an idiot for not knowing that he could kill you and just fighting, which if your statement about equipment is true how would it be a fair fight anyways. Myself I wouldn't have bothered I'm a lot more easy going about random passerbyers (spelling?).
