Calling all Roadbuilders!

Your mission, if you are crazy enough to accept it, is to build a road link between the two major established towns in this world, Brodgar, and Swampcrazed. Your reward? LP and fame. Lets name the road after the builder! (providing its not a silly name! I'm looking at you Cockbat!)

Here's a map which shows the location of the two.

Heh, this could actually be a nice project while I wait for my trees to grow. The only setback for me is the high amount of food/tea needed to do a considerable amount of work.

Do you have a proposed route for this road?

Well, I was crazy enough to build that east/west RoB road (albeit could be considered easy because it is only an approx. 450 meter horizontal line of two pavements width) maybe I'll consider to doing it or help with the builders if there's already people working on it.

I would suggest starting with a 1 tile road, someone plowing and someone laying stone behind them, while a third person gets supplies for the workers.

Supplies meaning food, drink, plow repair materials, etc. Doing this alone would be really inefficient =|

Temporaria is set up, we've just got to activate our totem.
Also the roadbuilders should probably be supplied with pickaxes, and good quality plows.

I'm working on the road as I write this. I've had to wind the road between a few claims, hope no one minds. And yeah, a pickaxe and/or an iron plow would be nice. :) (Oh, I guess you meant higher quality wooden plows?) Metal still seems to be rare right now, though.

Nice to get back to some heavy-duty road building. This is the life!

I'd gladly make a decent quality plow, but the highest quality boards I can make are 29. friggin quality 10 trees. ><
So pretty much, if anyone can match my boards with blocks, we can have an alright plow there.

I commend your effort! If I had anything of quality to give you I would, but my prized possession is a Q10 stone axe!

A fine idea! There definitely needs to be more player-made roads connecting towns together. I'm currently trying to work on one, so, unfortunately, I can't help with this one, as I'm the only one working on the River Road. If and when I finish, if you guys still need a hand, I'd be happy to track you down and assist.
