Slow, slow, slow death (of the forums)

Postby cloakblade » Thu May 19, 2011 12:06 am

The forums have seem to be less and less active (other than congress that becomes a cesspool every once in a while so I don't always read it). Is this just because the large majority of the player base is as bored as me? Are we all assuming, as I do, that when Salem comes out that there will be more regular updates?

Or am I just more active on the forums now so I just think its going too slow?

Opinions comments concerns?

I've been playing since the beginning of World 4 and I'm not even close to bored yet. As for the forums? Who knows?

its not just the forums, but this happens in every world. You get to a point where you have no real objectives other than raise q of stuff, and with the new LP system you don't even have to play for a long period of time to keep your LP up.

At least the old worlds had more updates to keep stringing us along until next reset.

someone nailed a pretty funny joke in the 'why would someone do this topic' about a wizard shrinking someone and putting them in the bottle, i found that highly entertaining

The activity of the site can only go up as long as the servers are online, this is a great sandbox game and the only comparable game I've even seen is Wurm online, if admins wanted to make it serious some decent hosting and an announcement would bring in a lot of people.

I'm waiting to see if Terraria adds more content before I buy it.
