New Beginnings!

Postby Projeear » Sun May 29, 2011 11:05 am

So, I decided to play again. I applied for a couple of village Recruitment threads, but no return.

I made a new character a couple of days ago. Made a house, found a friggin' rabbit's foot on my first rabbit, hung that to dry, had all the basic newbie things going on. Good times. Logged in today to find "Somewhere in the Wilderness".

I log in to where I last logged out, my house, to find my hearth gone. I exit, to find a signpost on my doorstep. Screw this area.

I log out. Log back into the wilderness. Lands me on blueberries. Om nom. Log out.

Log into the wilderness once more, and I've found an abandoned russian village in a nice area.

Two mudflats, a grassland and in the broadleaf forest. All within one screen distance.

Timber house, couple of log houses, a graveyard (All in russian, sadly. Any translators available?), and a couple of crucibles. Pole fencing.

I think I'll settle here. I like rebuild projects.

Sounds fun, you can fight the russians when they come back too.

I intend to dismiss their hearths asap, heh. Just another K of LP to go.

Then "fun" with palisades begin... Gotta be careful of those respawn-where-last-logged though, eh...

So not only do we have to deal with an "I QUIT!" thread for you, but now we get an "I'M BACK!!" thread too?

Lucky us. ;)

It's an addiction, really. I'm terrible at going cold turkey.
