cant find anyone help!

i cant find anyone on this game i find loads of empty villages and towns i call out but get no awnser please tell me how to find people!

Hi,

Yeah, can be hard. Some advice:

(1) Look for the names of villages near you, post them here. This could help people give you your coordinates.
(2) Look for distinctive features like large lakes, mountains, swamps - look for them on the world map: http://www.algeralith.info/HavenMap/ . The best thing to find is the edge of the map, that will help you find your position much more easily
(3) Once you have found your position, you could make a post here saying where you are (only say approximately, or people will perhaps hunt you down), and if anyone else is nearby.
(4) Otherwise, you could make a post asking to join a village in the Dwarves and Thieves forum. That will be an easy way to find others to play with.

Ae you sure you want to find people, though? Half of them will kill you on sight for no reason at all.

If you're new and want to play with other people you might just want to have a look at the recruitment section of this forum and apply somewhere. Then spawn there with a new character. A lot of villages will accept new players and outfit them as far as my observations go.

Otherwise just settle down somewhere and wait for randomness to strike. You will eventually run into someone. Happens near rivers most of the time because everyone is lazy and prefers fast travel by boat. These encounters seem to turn violent a lot though.

i wouldnt be too eager to find people tbh. when i found people i was almsot killed twice...
