Ridiculously big personal claims?

I've never really seen anything like this, I just timed it, it took me 20 seconds of straight north-south sailing in a boat to get from one edge of his claim to another. Is LP now much easier to get, lategame?

Late game you pull in 100-250k LP per day quite easily. What you found is an LP bank, in case the person gets killed they can declaim it for the LP back instantly.

Those claims are definitely a problem. It has been suggested to involve some kind of sqrt function for declaiming them.
