Development Discussion: Current Topic, combat damage

I recall there have been plans for a revision of it but it was said that it is still unknown of when it will be implemented. I have some minor suggestions on how to balance the current and can possible try to create a new system as well as run through for game-breaking loopholes. Is a new system already planed or is it still open for suggestion?

Also has the same been planned for the current system of village warfare? I have searched through some suggestions in regards to the subject already.

I was referring to the combat system but I ended up deleting the word combat from the title without changing the content of this post.

What's wrong with the combat system? Err, I mean the core of it, everyone knows that UA/melee disbalance needs fixing and skill raising could use some work (but that's kind of out of scope of the combat system itself).

The village war system is the one that is more in need of revamping.

The reason why I mentioned the combat system is because there is a hearsay of replacing it and was curious of it. Albeit if not needed, I am curious of any current fixing of the current one taking place where none of the 3 combat category, Unarmed, Melee, and Marksman becomes obsolete.

You're right, the sieges need a complete overhaul, but that's a completely different system.

Combat system just means the core combat mechanics - offence and defence meters, advantage, IP and the manipulation of those with moves and manoeuvres - and I don't really see anything wrong with those. Well, the specific moves and manoeuvres could user some rebalancing to make melee actually viable, but the core of the system is sound and I think it should stay as it is.

I don't know where you heard they're gonna change it, I haven't heard anything.

Melee's fine if you use it right, but it's best for
defence, not really too great on offense unless
you use it in a certain way with a few little
tricks.
