I was killed...

Postby buzzard » Mon Jul 18, 2011 10:01 am

Hi,
It is a whining post maybe, but I got killed and I feel bad.

I runned a farm near river, palisaded, and one day ... *bang*... ~1100dmg from out of the screen from river. Then 2 guys in boat came closer and shot again over 1k damage.
Isnt it unfair? Isnt it too much damage , range? ridiculous? Unrealistic (i was behind palisade)? WTF?
2 or 3 weeks of play went bye bye within 5 seconds and without warning.
The game was perfect until this moment. Now I think I lost interest in it.

Be glad you died. Soon you would have been palibashed and all your possessions stolen destroyed or discarded.

LP is cheap to get back, if death was the only consequence you can build yourself back up. The truly painful and debilitating part is losing all of your belongings and your home. Your home is everything to a hearthling. It facilitates rapid production, secure and plentiful storage, diversity of production, and improves how quickly you can gain LP and stats.

This is true~
I'd love to see how this is managed successfully honestly =o
It's just difficult to grasp a successful economic growth without stable crop productions, cattle, cheese farming, and mining.
Perhaps I'm just very single minded?

Some people are happy with some food on the table and a little house in a small place. Some people like a quiet small town. Some wont be happy until they have q300 everything, gold and silver.
