Is this reasonable?

Postby SaintGilbert » Thu Jul 21, 2011 7:56 am

I've been up for ten hours trying to get a wagon home because I'm afraid someone will steal it if I don't get it home ASAP. I'm dog-tired and have early morning obligations, but I am too paranoid to just close my client and go to sleep.

it sort of is. if your so worried about it, park it far far away from any rivers, hide it behind and oak tree (if there are any available) and keep the cow leashed to it. the cow wont wander off while its leashed to the wagon (as far as I know, they dont need food either. i say this becuase in w3 it took me 3 or 4 days of travel by wagon to get somewhere else and the cow never ate any food or took any starvation) also if you can, set a claim over the cart and cow. people dont normally steal wagons unless they have something worth stealing in them. what you should be worried about is the cow.

Which will make you go insane quicker.... sleep deprivation or the loss of ingame goods?

To be more helpful, maybe there is a better way to have planned your route?
Perhaps next time use the world map to minimize the number of river crossings? Those are killer.

Sleep deprivation will catch up to me gradually, I know...

But I would be so damn regretful if I lost my wagon and cow in a moment of weakness. :(

I only WISH I could cross rivers! I should have made ropes or a raft before trying to travel home. It's been driving me insane driving my cow AROUND rivers when with a raft I could just as easily go ACROSS or UP rivers.

Ah, well. At least I am home.

Now I just have to get my wagon into my estate... :?

Isn't a wagon big enough to hold 4 raft sections as well as other containers?
