Epic River Chase

To whoever those 3 DHelm guys where, that was a fuckepic chase my hands where literally shaking all the time! Still cant believe I got away with my life.

Story for those interested. No pics, didn't have time to take them.

Its been a while since these guys harassed our village, destroying our installation and murdering our villagers. So everyone was naturally on high alert.
I dared to go out fishing , since one of my friends needed them to cook some food. I met a random guy on the way to the lake but he wasn't hostile and we went right past each other.

Once the lake i started fishing, i also realized i left a scent since the whole lake had been claimed, didn't care much about it. I went to unclaimed land to reorganize my inventory and my chest and went straight back to the spot.

That's when i saw the 1st of them, DHelm guy with a steel sword was collecting my scent. As soon as he saw me, he aggroed and i darted for the village. Then, i saw a second guy coming from the north river, this one had DHelm/Rbow and started chasing me too! the river home was just in front of me when i saw the 3rd guy (Dhelm/Rbow) blocking the way , i was sure it was my end. They tried to box me in but i managed to get out. I went to the other side of the lake but they where pushing me towards the shore, so i changed direction again and went to the middle of the lake.

I saw the opportunity i could take the northern river and i took a chance. 1 guy took the other river and the other 2 kept chasing me, and after quite some lagging and getting stuck , i managed to loose them, but they reagrroed before i could port . Luck was on my side since i lost them again and ported to the safety of my HF.


TL;DR I almost got gangbanged but got away after an epic river chase.

Well, there is one guy with a Necro/Rbow in the raiders group, but i didnt see him this time. Maybe he was watching

Sounds like you had quite the thrill~! Boat chases can be as exciting as combat, especially when outnumbered. They probably thought you were stealing water or something =)

I dont think so, wouddlnt explain why they ran a noob char down and shot another from over the walls

Yes it would.
High quality resources are a premium and vandalism alts/thief alts are annoying and a huge offense. They probably assumed you were a vandal alt taking water back to your base and came to kill you and your villagers.

Again, i think this is highly imporobable, what would they be doing here when their vault is 2-3 SG's away? Plus, all the villages in the area kinda cooperates with eachother to a certain extent. Im certain they are in the area just to cause havoc.
