Been kickin around the idea of coming back. But with the new LP system and such I don't know.

Do you guys like the new LP system?

Do you think it's better than our old system?

Is the ancestor thingy still in effect(I mean a raider dies and he's able to inherit his previous char's str and melee/unarmed ability?)

I stopped playing H&H and went back to eve online then to World of warcraft. but dangit, this game still haunts me :) I Really enjoy the survival aspect of the game. you start with nothing and before you know it, you got a thriving sprawl of land. But i also know the reasons why i left may be still there. But it seems from what little i gleamed from the forums that this new LP system kinda did away with your hacker and botters.

Any and all your oppinions are welcome.

Yes to all, although you only inherit a % of your original stats.

I like the new system. It's better in my opinion. In the old system my LP/hr had to suffer if I wanted to work on something interesting. The new system gives more freedom as far as how I spend my time because LP is ticking up in the background. Unlike EVE I still have to take the time to forage/craft/buy the items that level me up, so I still feel like my character represents my personal effort.

People can still inherit stats from ancestors yes.

It didn't do away with botters, but their advantage is smaller.

One (in my opinion negative) feature of the new system is it's MUCH easier for one normal person to level multiple characters simultaneously. Because of this, there are more expendable black arts alts floating around.

Einherjeraspekt, 40NP: Strength, melee, unarmed and ranged combat values of your ancestors are added to yours. This effect lasts for one full ingame day

is this still in effect?

I really enjoyed not having to grind endlessly. It was also a nice boon to the economics of things because curiosities are a powerful driving force and profitable trade good. It took me about an hour and a half to gather up enough curiosities for myself for 2-3 days -- or what usually broke down to 2-3 people for 1 day each. After that I was free to build and explore and every once in awhile I'd get a nice little sum of lp =)

why invest in a game that "imo" Has something that clearly makes advantage for combat orientated dudes(not so much in wantin to fight, but dieing once or twice and coming back with Boocoo Stats)? Ee Gads man this spell has been talked and talked about(you of all peeps should know about that).

also; peeps in the last two villages I was in actively done this. did they attack me, no but how many combat orientated peeps out there do not use this?

And last thing Gato, do you have it?
