Whats the reason of playing H&H for you? Whats your ingame long-term goal? What to you find the most interesting part of the game?

Its not that much people playing now in world five. I suppose all of us who didnt gave up playing after all the shit happened to the server since the w4 wipe should have some reason to keep playing.

Let us remind ourselves of his bravery and willingness to fight for the safety of his friends!
Let us hope he can surpass his previous achievements in his future lives.

The thing I love the most is how you're thrown butt-booty naked in the middle of the forest (I forgot to look in the box at the beginning lol) and you have to struggle just to keep fed. Then, you can build and build and build yourself up until that once pathetic, butt-booty naked fellow is now a lawspeaker of a village. I love how open and free the gameplay is, I love how it only took 2 guys to make such a masterpiece, and how they are both believers of Austrian economics (something I am very passionate about), I love the realism, the immense challenges just to stay alive, the combat system... I just love the damn game period lol

In all other MMog's, loot is pretty static and standard, but in Haven, a game where ALL of the loot is player made, there's no telling WHAT your reward will be for doing shit..... You could search a boat next a river and find a crate with 5 pearls in it, or burrow into a mine shaft, reach the surface and have a whole town to plunder.... Also, for the explorer in me, there's no lack of ruins and other player made world changes that you can run across if you explore. I think it just comes down to the mutability of the world.

Seriously, what stories are told in World of Borecraft? " Dude, we raided the same place again for the same exact loot " " Yeah, I was walking along and got ganked by Deadmines..." Woooo! The excitement is killing me! Each world in Haven has a history, towns, factions, wacky ass crazy players like Vigilance, an actual history that is pretty much unbound by the game mechanics... Ok, enough gushing, i just love the game.

World of warcraft is a child's game lol. You die, but you don't lose anything? Talk about dumbed-down gaming...

My reason of playing this game....the interest in observing (and playing around with) social and political power structures. But also so many, many other aspects that make it great.

That's dead on, you can't actually make a difference in WoW. In H&H you can literally change the face of the world. There are many reasons I play H&H, but I'll just list one that I think is significantly unique compared to other games...

I love how in this game people's "homes" are so uniquely built. You stumble across some ruins and see the kiln placed here, cabin there, containers over there. Someone put all those things there on purpose... for a reason. They lived here and walked to these items every day. They're probably where they are out of convenience, strategy, accident, or aesthetics. Villages aren't all identical and they often show signs of bad planning and such. It's very interesting. I love to see a small plot with a very efficient design or giggle at some horrific misplacement.

In most games things are where they are because a world builder stuck them there. Sometimes you say, "Oh cute, there's even a table and chairs here as if someone actually lived in this place." But nobody really uses those chairs, and nobody cares if the chests are in convenient places. Why the fuck is the forge here, now I have to walk all the fucking way from the bank and back??? It's all so artificial and once you see the same farmhouse for the 20th time it's just so bland.

Organically built world = thumbs up.

I love the tolkienesque aspect of the game where there is always something unbexplored or some deep cave of wonder like in the lord of the rings books
