Cheap house??

Did anyone else notice how in the trailer the timber house was only 5 branches and 2 planks!?!?!?!?!?!?

the trailer is very old. Did you notice the goofy looking trees?

Did tree's give the same amount of wood as they do now?

You couldn't plant trees back then, and the base terrain was grassland. The world virtually ran out of trees by the time tree planting was implemented.

infinite branches were fun, but you know what was really fun? infinite clay from a node (the quality never depleted)

in w2, there was a q65? clay spot on the main grid, about 10 minutes away from the ring of brodgar (where everyone spawned). you know what happened? it remained unclaimed for (i think) the entirety of world 2, and anyone was able to dig clay here. it was even marked on a publicly available map. can you imagine that happening today?

there was also a public q90-something soil spot marked on the map there as well, lol
