If the website is loading slowly, it's possible that it is your internet connection or something in the middle.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

yeah it's unplayably laggy, I don't know why they even keep it up like this

either run game properly or don't run it at all imo

it's just fking annoying, if they can't afford proper server then make payments/premium accounts/donations etc, just make it run properly fgs

It spikes every now and then.
It's hardly unplayable and certainly not to the point that the game needs to be taken down.

I don't have much issues with lag tbh, only once every couple of days I notice a big spike and I just save and play later and it's usually fine.
The server crashes at least once a week since I've been playing too, fuck it, it's all part of that indie charm, this is a small game and a very niche title.

Honestly if you feel the lag is so "fking annoying" you can't play... then don't play.
Problem solved.
If they took the game offline you wouldn't be able to play anyway but neither would I and since I don't seem to be having the same issues you are, that would suck for me and everyone else who seems to be playing just fine.

Let's put some emphasis on that. No one is making you play. You can either enjoy it as it is and hope for it to improve, or you can leave. We know there's lag. The devs know there's lag. Whining about it isn't doing any good at this point, it's not like you're going to suddenly make someone aware of the issue.

devs are busy playing salem

i would rather pay for game than deal with this lag, i dunno where u live to have no lag problems, maybe next door the hosting server but in england right now on my decent speed internets i have constant, never-stopping about 3fps lag

i really like this game thats the only reason i havent ragequitted about it yet but this is just ridiculous and i never experienced any game like this before and i played crap loads of games

lag in games is generally because of users pc/net never because of fail game server, wat a disapoint

Playing ON the game server would do the same thing...
Bandwith actually isn't the problem.

The game-server is using all the memory allocated for it and need more.
Maybe it's script side, or database side, idk.

Maybe it's material, and the system is using swap memory (which is very slow) to complete.
Maybe there is enough RAM on server, and it's just a configuration issue on the database side. (But honestly i doubt)...

We need the devs to find what's the issue (which would take sthg like 1-2hours when not used to this), and then we may find a solution.

About the nuke, i'd be happy to know how, when half the world is going to trash (which only means less data), it could make the server lagging more.

They did mention the lag was due to a process that backs up map data regularly.
(So every time the games makes a backup of all the map data, you feel a lag spike)

So its either: live with the lag or live with the threat of losing all your stuff because another nuke happened and no data was backed up.
