i miss the bigness of previous worlds :(

Postby joojoo1975 » Fri Aug 05, 2011 2:10 am

No idea what J&L descided to shrink the world size, though i'm sure it was for good reason. But. . .

I do miss walkin for time and time some more, not seeing any evidence of player's leavings. and now, I have yet to see a descent sized area where players have not touched.

Now more than ever do i wish for Hearthclaim plot degradation

in my "unknown" area i have come across Countless(more than 15) claims that are just basically old crops and stone pavings

tis a shame.

I'm sorry to say this but you come up with a lot of inane complaints.

The world isn't even tiny, you just have to be willing to move around and explore for a nice plot of your own. Space is like any other quality resource.

What is this...I don't even...... Dude, I've been gaming since 1981 and Playing Mmog's since 1997 and have NEVER seen a game world the size of this. I dare say that if it was bigger in world 2 or 3 that it was TOO big. Maybe it's just the area you're in but i can go through huge lengths of river with barely any site of habitation. And like whoever it was said, you complain about fucking everything! If the game as it is doesn't suit you, no one is holding you at gunpoint chief, bugger off......

I do miss the "wilderness" rings from w3 where new players wouldn't spawn, but now that people don't sit around making buckets all fucking day at least deforestation isn't bad. You can find wilderness and good hunting even near major villages.

all recent worlds were not created the size they were when they were ended.
All have expanded out. Only thing is, Loftar doesn't have time(most likely) to mess with H&H.
Especially with Salem gearing up for release(hope so). Atleast didn't someone say it was end of 2011?

We might see a Beta then, let me find you the quote, 1 sec ElGato.

"Susana, Paradox PR person wrote: The release date was communicated VERY early, around announcement, and as such it's usually more of a projected time than a fixed release date set in stone. It's fairly tricky to lock down a realistic release date in the beginning of a project, but you can make a projection. Now that we have a better grasp of what we are aiming for, the "external" release date has also been adjusted to match that. We'll be including Salem in our GamesCom press conference and plan to start a first small BETA in September, more info to follow around the time of the press conference."

TKnight: to say these are inane complaints is just not so. I'm basically just jottin my thoughts on this screen. they are here for you to look upon. and to see if others agree with me.

Pherz When i talk in H&H 9 times out of 10 i'm talkin about H&H. you should had seen the size of world 3. I thought world 2 was Enormous, but that was before J&L introduced boats.

But, nevertheless folks, thankyou for your replies.

(on a serious note, one of the reasons i "blog" is when i descide to join a village, they will have stuff to read about that shows my "point of view?". and considerin i haven't played since world 3, i would like for them to understand who I am, Without me tellin them, so to speak.)

I remember lots of threads in the past being closed up because the forums weren't places for public blogging. This was around W3/W4 mostly. As I said before, I'm sorry to say it but a lot of your views are fairly inane. They're still better than half of the posts made quite honestly but they're not great topics.
