Is this normal?

Postby lerzby » Fri Aug 26, 2011 7:02 am

So, last night i was about to go to bed, started heading into my cabin, and suddenly two people pop up next to my fence saying hello and asking me where i was from. One was speaking korean and, unsure if the english-speaker was russian or not, i ask my boyfriend to hop on, as i don't have will to power. So he comes out with his bow and they start getting all skittish and repeatedly send me kin requests while staying near the edge of the screen. I deny all of them, and they run off after leaving dead rabbits at our gate. My boyfriend, out of curiosity, accepts one of the kin requests. Turns out his name is Loftar.
Eerier than all my tanning tubs finishing at the same time after only four hours. Or catching eight plaice in a row sitting in one spot with a q5 woodfish and never breaking anything.

So, is this normal? Can everyone and their mother be named Loftar or is there a one-person-per-name sort of system?

While I have seen Loftar ingame, I didn't have him as kin, and do not know his ingame name. Loftar spoke english when I saw him.

Names are not unique, anyone can name a character "Loftar"

I met a Korean called Jorb on the river a while back, they seem to enjoy doing this :).

You didn't take in any of the dead rabbits, did you? They might leap out of one and catch you by surprise and totally unarmed.

Koreans use rabbit-traps to hunt the unwary, stay safe, you might be able to lure them into your perch traps, you can study naked koreans for 50000LP Base.

I myself have been led into a rabbit trap, beware. Also, if you have a fence and a claim, it should stop them from attacking you without vandal. If you HAVE to talk, move back and forth to disrupt their aim in case they are aiming.
My son, walk not in the way unarmed; because thou knowest not when thy enemy shall come upon thee.

"Normal" is only a difficulty level in video games - Aso11
Jackard: Koya only raises the lynx so he can molest it later
Koya: What means "molest" ? Translator cannot translate it or do it with no logics...
