I don't really need testers because the game is pretty much already done with it's development cycle, but you're free to try it. I can still fix any bugs you find or make some quick fixes.


I don't deal with any complaints related to enemies because they can be edited/created via admin control panel (see below). If you really really really want to try the admin control panel I can grant the force for your account... In case you're a little kid trying to remove every enemy from the game, the best you can do is 24 hours of rollback. Well you could also upload pictures of * or perhaps * as enemy avatars. (I'm not giving any hints, I swear! :?)


Although not visible the game also has an admin control panel. It allows you to virtually modify anything.. Add / remove enemies, modify players. All of that without the user (admin) requiring any knowledge of PHP/HTML or other cryptic languages.


I'm also willing to share parts of the source code and teach PHP to anyone interested, but anyone I teach is required to have a certain amount of intelligence. I still do hold all rights for my own code, meaning that you're going to get chased by an army of prosecutors if you use any parts of my code for your own PHP program. ;)


Disclaimer: All of the illegally ripped images have been upload by someone else via the admin control panel. I have no control over it. I have tried to delete those images but anything I delete comes back instantly (probably uploaded by those random users).

Why don't you remove their rights to the admin panel...?

Why don't you remove their rights to the admin panel...?

I don't know if you realized it or not, but that was just a... disclaimer.. to get me out of trouble :)

But seriously speaking, I'll remove any image if I'm being notified to do so. Most of the images come from HWS.

so basic but at least functioning

got a base bit laid down now u can pimp it and add lots of pretty things

also if ur going to rip images then do it from something not completely obvious and well known such as WoW icons

I agree. I'll try to replace those images at some point.


I've been planning to add things such as: (the order of the ideas I listed doesn't mean anything)

Perk system, where you get to pick 1 unique perk after each level up (and no, it's nothing like talent tree).

Avatars for players: It shouldn't be too hard to implement because in the code, player's character is basically the same as enemy character + enemies already have avatars.

In game messages: You can already get messages from "the system", but players can't yet send messages to each other. I'll probably use Chatango chat as long as this hasn't been made.

Different races: Conflicts a bit with the avatar idea, if the user can upload any avatar he/she wants.

Items: I don't really want to create a traditional inventory. I was thinking that they could be a bit like perks you have to buy to unlock. You could only only select 1 weapon at a time.

Improved skills. For example fireball burning the target for some "ticks" or charge stunning the target. I also wanted to create multi-target spells. Already existing Winter Blast could be 1 (currently it only hits 5 times to the same target).

Improved enemies. Enemies attacking you on their own. I can already control each and every enemy and make them attack players (via the admin control panel) so I just need to make it automated. For this idea I also need to create a location system so enemies from graveyard don't suddenly attack targets training in forest.

I started by replacing nearly all magic icons (I wasn't really sure which ones were from WoW). I could really use help with melee icons because I can't recognize which ones are from WoW and which ones are from somewhere else. It would really be difficult to replace all of them. So if anyone is more familiar with that horr.. nice game please help me out. :P

I also changed the game mechanics a bit:


Changes:
-Character level now grants a % bonus for skill damage. For example level 20 character gets 20% damage bonus for all skills. This bonus doesn't affect the constant base damage of skills.
-Dexterity is less efficient at modifying the chance to Parry/Block/Dodge and more efficient at modifying the chance of Counter/Escape.
-Changed the way how max hp/mp/sta work. It's now possible to get 5x higher max hp/mp/sta (20000 -> 100000) making constitution and intelligence much more useful.
-The experience formula was changed. The new system encourages you to attack difficult enemies which either have high hp or higher level than you. It also discourages you to attack weak or low level enemies.

Bug fixes:
-Fixed some problems causing PHP notices right before website redirect.
-Fixed a potential exploit which allowed users to log in with any characters.
-Fixed a bug resulting to max HP/MP/STA being calculated twice, resulting to high level enemies having massive HP/MP/STA if they were allowed to regenerate.
-Fixed a bug where skill combo amount wasn't displayed when attacking.
-Fixed a bug which reduced the exp from boss monsters greatly.
