oi, if you have enough lp to get trespassing and theft, my q15 baked goods shouldn't interest you that much. or my q20 onions.
my poor tiny farm's been raided twice in the past two days. first time the only thing that was stolen was the large chest full of rustroot and chicken meat, which i was cool with, i had just found it abandoned along a river. but nobody steals my pie D:<

now to build a palisade to protect my carrot cake, you sweettooth thieves.

i don't think i'm to the point where i'd ask for his death, unless he starts stealing my chickens. but i have a free stuff sign a little ways away with several baskets that i fill with helpfull noob things like seeds, food, and plant fibres. the free stuff sign does not apply to my house, i hope people realize :S

also as i don't have will to power or any way of defending myself, i don't think it'd be wise to give out my coordinates, at least not until i get a palisade o:

likely not a good idea even after, just get a palisade up, if that does not stop him then try asking for help, until then better safe then sorry.

An LC is always good loot, theif probably just dropped all the rustroot though, maybe kept chicken meat

and to be fair, even 15ql baked goods is still baked goods and since cooking is so boring and such effort, it doesn't really suprise me that people would bother to loot it

to be honest, without palisade you might as well expect anything even remotely decent to be looted shortly after you've made it

that may be true. i just thought it was a bit odd considering the last time i had anything stolen from me was weeks ago when i didn't have a claim up. stole my boat, the cauldron i made, all the clay in my kiln, all the leather i had tanning, and one tanning tub. how they got all of that home is anyone's guess.

besides, the main reason i was mad was that they avoided all my four-leaf-clovers, inkweed, wishbones, everything else of value and went right for the cake i had waiting for when i got hungry D;

Being nice will get you taken advantage of.

Protip: DON'T BE NICE.

I've never had problems with thieves before but as soon as I put a couple of crates outside my claim with a note inside each one saying, "Free seeds. Help yourself. Please leave this note." Someone came around and stole the notes, and decided to help themselves to whatever I had inside my claim. (This was before I had a palisade.)

Now I have a palisade up and I treat everyone that I see as a potential thief. Sure I'll be friendly and strike up a conversation with you but if you want something you'd better ask someone else. Maybe it's just me and my old hermit attitude but I've stayed alive this long so I must be doing something right.

It's perfectly fine to be nice though. Just always be ready to kill whoever you're being nice to just in case. Also don't be stupid about trades and friends. If someone desperately wants you to open up your gates and let them in then they're obviously trouble.

lol okay so last night before i logged off, i went to sleep in my cabin, logged on to an alt, made a runestone that said "hey dickbags, stop stealing my food" and put it so it blocked the door to my cabin. when i got on today, the runestone was moved, but nothing was touched (thankfully). i think they're messing with me ):
