You're being hasty. It's like anything else and some people will hate it while some people will like it. The concept of permadeath and survival mmo are very radical and different from anything we're used to in MMOs. There are precious few games like this at all.
Everyone should have a chance to experience it and decide what they like and don't like though. If they're going to rage quit then let them rage quit. It's no skin off our backs.

If not, Nidhoggur, the game is in the alpha stage meaning it is isn't even close to finished. And the game is currently costing you nothing but your time which you can spend however you choose. FYI: Fucking off is free, please take one.
