Stealing lawspeaker through brickwall (send to Hel please.)

This morning i logged into my alt who was lawspeaker of my village inside a brickwalled mine, the claim had no auth left since it was only to teleport in, when i got into the mine i noticed signposts everywhere aswell as the claim now containing 160k auth and a new lawspeaker aswell as vandal and assault scents, they broke in from my palisaded minehole outside my village, went down the ladder into the sealed brickwall and managed to take lawspeaker without being near the idol.

i'm aware that it can be taken when your right next to it if there is less than 50k auth, with all the empty sign posts (they had no materials in them? why did they not even disappear? my guess is they used some bug to get in,

so my question is, does that sound possible without the use of a bug?
p.s, no there is no snake tunnels on the lower level that they used to tunnel in from below.

maybe they did it?
maybe they took LS somehow then wanted to go up the ladder and walljumped it.

They came from the ladder, they palibashed to get into the minehole from the surface, went down, then got past the brickwall gate into the claim area
edit: also the sign posts they layed down were all blank, no materials inside

maybe they took LS and then realized they had no way of getting back out of the mine and wanted to get back to the ladder
