I died die to a lag crash :(

i know this happened to a lot of people, and I had been worried about it, and today, i was in my boat, when my game crashed, i was afraid to log on, and when i did, sure enough, i was in the water by my boat, then BAM, dead... and i was just starting to get into the character

If you don't have swimming your char appears to be standing on water instead of sinking when you log on water.
At least mine does.

yeah hazzor, your incident is not the usual one - did you have swimming activated?

swimming or not, you log on pulling a
jesus, it's just that if you don't have
swimming you have to hearth or die
because you cant leave the tile and
start swimming, you just sink
