I want to revive this youtube thing i had going on, i still actively upload to my channel of course, but some people have said things like "what happened to Hnh" and that sort of thing, so, me being such a gentleman and my lust for haven and hearth in it's more standard form slowly ebbing with so much bad luck this world, i want to do something nice, preferably not on my own, not a dual commentary as such (because they make me cry) but just something where i'm not alone in the world for once, since the server's down that's obviously not gonna happen right now, but i want to organize something, i've had a village of noobs and friends before at the start of the world but certain situations led to it's demise...

this isn't in D&T because this thread will turn into something of a repository for my videos, i'm better at the youtubes this time around and i'll edit the boring shit (i promise) , my videos of hnh used to basically be me sailing around while talking about stuff, interesting for some it seemed but also ultimately pointless i think.

so the recruitment part of this thread, which i preface with, yes, i recently got some people together and made a small settlement with btaylor (there were others but they left by day two) but he's busy with other things i think at the moment (some everquest mac thing that i'm indifferent to but he seems to care about, so his play time is slipping more and more, and as such so was mine since i can't be bothered living as a hermit again for any period of time...

any experience apply but if i know you to be an ass don't expect a great reply and i expect you to have at least some experience
I'll also accept all time zones since i can't actually predict what time i'll play and it varies from 9AM to 2AM

we need (not crossing them off since people have multiple preferences, refer to list below)

I'll likely play as a hunter/forager

-hunter 2 (maybe more if foragers want to be a dedicated forager and not hunt) (enough of these)
-miner (perhaps not straight away so i might turn you down if that's all you want to do)----------------------------------l who know's why i'm structuring like this
-forager 2+ (can hybridize with hunter) l If you apply as a miner/tailor/silk guy but are willing to fulfill another more early game role for a while before hand

-tailor (calling them sewers is just not right)/silk guy (again, not straight away most likely, as with miner) ----------l
-Cook (if someone's willing to farm and cook, i'm okay with this)

Hunters should be willing to level combat skills other than Marksman and learn to fight like a man, in case of emergency.

i have a village plan, sorry i decided to draw out the text



the village will be divided into 4 quadrants, the farming quarter, the Industry quarter, the Hunter's Quarter (and likely the tailor too) and the other bit, the other bit is where the curios will be stored along with the tables and food, all of which will be shared completely but appropriately (farmers don't need strength for example)

the bit you might not like:

I won't let you have an alt, be it a combat alt or a key alt or whatever, i know, you probably already hate that prospect, if you don't you're perfect, if you're willing to work with it i'm ok with this too.
my reason for this is that a character on a game with permadeath should be your everything in the game, no back up save if i'm making sense

If i had to put a target audience on this, it would likely be more interesting to beginner players, which is apparently most of the player base at the moment, this is because i'm also a new player, so veteran, or at least experienced players will probably find my ignorance tedious, or perhaps hilarious, that's for you to decide, all that said, here it is, someone tell me if i can embed it here, i couldn't find out how.

not quite, i'll film episodes, obviously i'll try to do this when i'm not just floating idly down a river looking for things to forage, for example, since i first started doing youtube videos, I've never liked the prospect of editing out things, it breaks up the commentary, which i do while playing, and usually constantly, of course, silent footage of me cutting trees would be downright unwatchable
