Anyone care to explain this?

It was just an normal day on H&H, i was about to stop playing and shut down and go to bed. i put my main char to bed.
Next day i find that my main char is not on my char selection menu(ded). I choose my alt and i find my main char stil in the bed.
question is why did he die? and why is he still in the bed? Everything about him was allright.

R-click him and it should disappear, your were most likely summoned and killed but since you char is still in bed on your client, happens to me all the time

Bed animations do not represent reality. It's very easy to be on a character and have that same character technically occupying a bed.

Maybe he's dead and does not even realize it? Like that guy on the Sixth Sense.

It is highly possible your character contracted a terminal swamp fever.

It progresses while you're offline, and if you don't notice the symptoms (represented as a form of "game lag" resembling symptoms as in "char dementia and distortion of reality hallucinations, animals walking across the rivers, etc) and cure them by chilling your char out in the water using the swimming skill until your stamina bar is depleted you will die.
