What is this place?

Theres an abandoned village called New Canaan, theres a few people asleep in there. The walls either rotted or were bashed open. To the north of that village is an abandoned(I think) Russian village. The walls rotted, or again, got bashed away. Where is this place?

I am (was) the old LS of New Canaan. We were a prosperous village until we split up due to a raid on us by unidentified people a while back. The area is peaceful, and dead as far as I know of.

That's my old river system but I don't even go there anymore.... keep an eye out for some ruins with a cave near, there qual 30+ Lvl 1 iron in it.
