Alright so here's the full story, last night I started a new character in world 6 and found a cave nearby and though hey I'm gonna claim this tomorrow. So I gather my LP ect ect.. eventually I go back to the cave and 3 people are already living there. So I claim the cave anyway, not caring about those three other hearthlings settling there. So he starts getting all angry and whatnot and I just don't really care, sure it was a dick move, but the cave is mine now.

Later that night something strange happened, he started making a insane amount of alt characters. Most of witch can walk right through my claim. Sooo... What's going on here? Should I care? Is that even legal?

Make a picket fence and they'll be trapped inside/outside. You don't need any criminal skills, just criminal acts, to walk through open claims. This is all perfectly legal and it can be annoying but easily fixed with fencing. Make sure to secure paths for yourself and extend your claim to trap his hearthfires in so spawning new ones isn't possible and you're not trapped.

Well still, the problem here is that his hearth fires are starting block everything here, I can hardly walk any more. He went trough a lot of trouble to do this I'll give him that.

You'll need to do damage control with fences. He can't spawn hearthfires over fences and if it's on a claim he can't interact with or break through the fences. Other then that, you'll need to get enough strength to break the fires.

Here's a screenshot, it's gotten a lot worse now. I just can't help but to feel neutral about this, but he's kinda being immature about this.

In the mean time go around making sign posts with a stick in them so he can't spawn anymore.

Well he's done it, he blocked the cave entrance after creating over 30 characters, well played. I guess I'll postpone my mining operations for a while. And thus, life goes on.
