Friendly Russians?

So today I was walking about hunting rabbits, and all of the sudden, I found a little village. I admit the urge to raid and take everything was strong, but then I saw a person approaching me, it was a Russian! He was even yelling at me or something of the sort, ANYWAY turns out he was really nice, I attempted to talk to him, and when it was over I gave him so rabbit meat and I got a dandy lion. Point is, is this rare? And has anyone else come across friendly russians?

Alot of russians are friendly, it's just the more famous russian group will kill you on sight. But then again, so would I, does that mean all Canadians will? No.

I also have recently met a friendly russian. TBH so far all of the russian people I have met in game have been really nice to me.
