Your LP system

Im just curious. I liked the old LP system and i do like the new one so i dont really care one way or the other however i am still curious:
How would you make the LP system?

as one of the players hurt by the curiosity lp system i will voice my opinion. i've been playing since mid world 3, (on and off mind you) played about 60% from the start of w4 and 3/4 of w5, i have not once used a bot or macro to increase or automate my character lp gain, however that changed in w5. the fact that harvesting and replanting crops now gives no lp and the shitty soil capping means i can have the possibility to earn so much more lp by having an alt bot my crops while boating around to have a slight chance to find a piece of driftwood or a rare flower. sure, the old lp system was abusable, but us honest players were punished for the actions of others, i would have been in favor of some type of anti-idle lp gaining measure ie captcha etc, at least you had to expend real life resources in order to leave your computer to bot, as opposed to having multiple characters per real player gaining lp simultaneously all the while being offline. the easy lp gain across multiple accounts means that having a character die for most players will not cause a rage quit later in the world, as opposed to losing a dozen mil lp~ char in the pre w5 era.

i've gone from being a force to be reckon with in pvp to just another nigger thanks to ad botting fires in mansions, curio system is a factor as to why once honest players now farm and mine bot

Why would anyone care if you mine botting or farming. The whole reason "botting" was a four letter word in the first place was because of the botted LPGAIN. You still get something from farming and mining, it's just mnot as abusable when you are getting slightly easier vegetables and/or ore as by month 3 or so pretty much everyone will have as much of each as they want anyway.

There were a lot more harvest and mine bots with the old LP system. That doesn't even make sense.

But, if this turns out into another "I hate the new LP system" discussion this thread is gonna be locked up pretty quick. So better come up with some alternatives like the OP demands them.

Only difference I'd like to see is if killed hearthlings dropped a skull curio that was tied to the old formula used for lp gain when kills gained lp. That way, only high skill/lp players would give decent lp and farming alts would be pretty pointless. otherwise, Curios all day babby!

Intresting idea is having cooldowns on study. For example, you just finished bluebell, you have to wait to put another one. you need to mix curios and can't farm pearls or other things so easly. Cooldown may work on direct study slot, that you can put another bluebell but not at the same place in study, in this case cooldown could be longer.
It isn't new system, just a feature someone has told me and I personaly like it.
