Looking for a New Time-Soak (Vidjea)

Postby jordancoles » Mon Nov 21, 2011 4:48 am

So I've played a large portion of the free MMOs and I'm looking for something that I haven't heard of to fill the time when I'm trying to cling to the sanity I have left from making bricks.

Any names I should check out?

Cortex command... Humble bundle games....
ESPECIALLY Revenge of the Titans, awesome TD game.
Dead Frontier is a nice MMO, albeit a bit rough for newcomers.... Since a lot of the "good stuff" can be bought with credits. Of course YOU can get that stuff if you're one of the top 10 players in your region....
Meh, it's kinda for no lifers. :P

Eh, I've sort of grown out of games that I can't really show my accomplishments to anyone (offline).
Minecraft and Zelda OoT being the only real exceptions that have stayed true :P

Zelda? Minecraft? I agree with both. They are both islands of sanity in a sea of.... Water?

Although MARIO feels like a drug trip.

Idk I was thinking of replaying Diablo II but the grainy graphics of it gives me a headache after a while.. Haven doesn't have amazing graphics by any means but they're tolerable even for today's standards

Try Project Zomboid.
It's a post-apocalyptic zombie game. I think you'll find it quite addicting.
It's got some realism factor on it. You can get tired, depressed, scared, sleepy, etc. THIS ISN'T FOR PUSSIES.

There's a free alpha demo, it's got a ton of features in it.
It just doesn't have the character customization part.

I played it in alpha, seemed kinda weird the fighting interface seemed fucked up
It was when it was first released though so it may have been fixed
