For trading, what villages have crossroads that can be used publicly?

Blandinsville is willing to trade signs with any village willing to give one of theirs. Short jumps should help travel long distances without so much loss of fatigue. Signs are in baskets by our main road. Take one and leave your own or talk to someone hanging around. One of us is usually online.

Connection to our travel network will only be granted to certified trade partners.

Well, basically we need to know you and think you're OK. When I say you I of course mean the whole village, as the whole village will have access to the crossroads. I think you're OK, but I have no clue who you live with. Still, my approval alone isn't sufficient, as these trade privileges need to approved by a general vote.

Anyway, once you've been granted trade rights, I need to come and inspect your crossroads to see if they meet our security standards. They need to be behind a fully claimed wall, preferably brick, but palisade will do for start.

We need to do some village claim extension before we can grant trade privileges, though, so it might take some time to get certified.

but why don't you build a crossroad outside your village instead so you don't have to think about unwilling people getting access to your village??? that's what we are gonna do in my village
