killing in the hearthlands

Postby hazzor » Sat Dec 31, 2011 12:58 am

as someone who very rarely kills anyone in haven and hearth, doing so feels very ritualistic and there is a great sense of power to stand over someone KOd, knowing even if they really want to they can't even talk to you, and that the time they put into the character is about to be lost, this can only really be said when the person killed actually put up any sort of fight, stabbing a wounded noob that ran for ten meters and then ran out of water in their flask isn't quite the same

Can the same really be said for those that spend most of their time killing players, does it not lose it's significance?

True, so true. I only killed 3 people. For justice because they where trying to build a ram to raid my friends. They werent strong so i ko'd them in 1 hit. Ive never been in a real fight before but i can realize it has so much more to kill someone after a long battle in stead of killing a noob.
Hope you have a great day

Think its about the ''first time''.
When I killed my first player I felt regret. When I got killed for the first time I felt sad. Now I dont really care anymore, kill or be killed.

In the end its just a game and people who play it know its perma death so deal with it I guess.

Let us reflect upon the good he was able to do during his short time in the hearthlands.
Let us remind ourselves of his bravery and willingness to fight for the safety of his friends!
Let us hope he can surpass his previous achievements in his future lives.

Talking about my personal experience.
