A pretty general question, but to be more specific:
I had an absolute blast in World 5. I play a hermit style, for certain, but there were a few friends that popped in and out of my rather large claim from time to time. I have two accounts to run an alt specifically dedicated to STR and mining, and had mined almost every metal in the game. I had all the crops, tamed animals, cheese, etc. Was a great time!
Then some Russian speaking guy started hanging our around my claim. I couldn't communicate with him at all so I really have no idea why he started shooting at me. Eventually I was able to escape to the mine and things were alright when I reemerged a few minutes later. But, when I came home from work later that night, there were dozens of hearth fires outside my claim and EVERYTHING was gone. Destroyed, taken, plowed over... my whole claim was literally in ruins. Needless to say, I quit, rather discouraged.
I've, so far, battle back the urge to try H&H in World 6. My fear, obviously, is that this same sort of thing will happen again. My claim was secure, at every point, it was only a glitch/exploit/bug that would have allowed them in like that... Is this likely, or possible, to happen again??
I've updated Enders client, I've even logged in, but for now Skyrim is a safer bet than H&H.
