Recent Lag Issues - Donation Drive?

The lag in this game has gone from bad to worse as of late, what would it take to get HnH migrated over to a better server? Maybe Amazon Hosting?

I dont see why we cant get a donation drive going towards a certain goal here, im sick of ruberbanding all over the place.

Not many people are going to donate to a game that isn't being actively developed.

Besides Salem there getting paid HnH costs money. So its gonna be a while before HnH is lag free

Iono, im plenty happy with it as-is, and would pay/donate to have it be less laggy. I've donated in the past, and would do so again if i knew it were going towards solving this issue.

Or maybe we can get a US server setup?

Salem is their No. 1 concern atm, and from what I last heard to get a lagless server it would be somewhere along the lines of 16 grand, which is doable between all of the players. Sad thing is, most of them are like 13 and don't have paypal/CCs

Loftar said that lag is due to something with I/O in IRC and that donations, while appreciated, can't help fix it.

16 Grand to fix the lag issues seems unrealistic as well.
Either that, or the network code is horribly, horribly, HORRIBLY inefficient.
