Botting Tutorials for Newbies DEBATE

Postby Jester87 » Tue Jan 10, 2012 3:21 am

There doesn't seem to be much out there to teach newbies how to bot. Would the community at large be hurt if botting became easy and highly accessible / visible? Are there many people who actually play this game legit these days?

EDIT: Changed to prevent confusion.

Imagine. A whole world of cyborg.

Well is a nice view, is like watch an ant nest in the middle of a park. The little difference is...that you're supposed to play H&H, not to watch only.

If you like a plastic game where you alone is alive and all the others are bots...you'll add a new reason to the comunity to leave the game.

Go on if you want, but, please, do not try to let us trust that you don't know the answer.

Honestly, I have my doubts sometimes. I know there are players who are legit. I'm not going to make a tutorial on botting if it shits on this community to hard. I just want to know if people really care or not.

My opinion is:

This game is collapsing step by step. Force it to collapse fastly is just a way to kill it soon.
I whould play a world or two more, before that day, so do not speed up the crash.

So you think botters should be banned, or what? It's not very clear from your lack of explanation in your post.

Thats interesting. You may have a good point. Adding more active connections will just kill the bandwidth even faster, and we all know how much it sucks already. Imagine an increased load of 25% on the servers at all times when everyone and their mom is running a bot 24/7. Yikes.

I was worring about the "no more player playing, only bots, any hope to have a talk with someone will die and this game will become a land of cold iron with no more emotions, neither killers will gain anymore emotions and the meaning of a game (entertainment) will be lost"....

But if you'r problem is the lag...meh, ok.

No. A game that doesn't have bots already implemented in it, and you want a tutorial so every single person in this community can use it? What's the point of playing a game when you're going to double-click "run.exe" and go do something else?

Well, my thought to counter this is that characters dies so easily that the gains would come equally with the losses. It would simply accelerate power, and get rid of some of the boring grinding (cutting down trees, farming, etc.)
