Here's an Idea Moderators

Why don't moderators remove Topic's that give links to bots?
It's ruining the game.
So many people constantly use the bots and its just making the game laggy, making the game shitty and making people quit.
Not too mention its unfair to players who actually play. Bots just allow villages and people to get Learning Points and materials as much as they please without playing.
While the rest of us try to enjoy the game and play when we have time.
So why not do anything about it?
And yea I know getting rid of the Topic's with the bots won't stop it completely, but at least it will stop the spread of it to the general H&H public.
And just allowing people to post these here on the forums doesn't make anything about H&H look good.
I ask again, why aren't these Topics being rid of?
If they are, well good job but I have still seen a couple.
Maybe the server should restart each day or something so it will log the bots off, or maybe when there are a certain amount of Hearthlings playing to eliminate the bots and the people really playing could log back on and play.

they will say to you that they don't care about bots, that this game deserve to be botted.

Then they make fastly an update that remove the gain from 1 modded client. Firt time in the story of hh. And that client is the only one that could let people play the game.

So don't ask them to do thing hoping to understand what they have in mind, you'll have lots of surprises in a couple of years.

Bots aren't making the game laggy, it's the semi-large playerbase and the lack of funds to get better hardware/internet for the server hosting.
And what would making the bots less accessible for your average player accomplish? Nothing, most would get the bot again but only from a different source.
If you don't like it, quit, this game wasn't meant for casual babies who want to change everything they don't like in the first place.

Yeah I know they run the server off a computer at home. But less bots would mean less characters on throughout the day, leaving more room for ACTUAL players to play. Duh. Probably a quarter of the hearthlings on each day are botters. Tell me how less wouldn't free up some lag?
Making bots less accessible for the average player would result in less players finding out about bots and using them. I understand current botters would get it from another source. At least botting use GROWTH would be cut down some if not significantly.
Quit? Bc of bots? I don't think so and I don't understand how not using bots makes me a baby. I've actually put plenty of time into my character. Im not trying to change the game, I just want the game more enjoyable for people who actually take time out to play the game. I love this game the way it is and I'm ready for even more updates when they are done with their current project, Salem. Bots are just a way for gamers to be even lazier as if we aren't lazy enough already, and to cheat.
Sorry if I offended your botting use geeze, but don't get upset at me, be a bitch, call me a baby and tell me to quit.
I'am sorry, but nothing that you said holds any water what so ever.

the server handled 1000 players at day few time ago.

If there is a pick of lag there must be another kind of problem.

uh how is that a fail? When you read post's do you just read certain parts?
That is a commonly used phrase. Don't come into a post just to make remarks on other's reply's because that makes you stale and stinky my friend.

You might be right. It would just still be nice to have less bots using up space for people to actually play :P

I do believe their hardware is fine I believe loftar mentioned it was more the server code being the problem but I would not understand that side of the game too much

Very true. This game is considered by them in pre-alpha production so there probably is still much game coding/editing for them to do.
