HELLo!

Postby munooh4 » Thu Jan 19, 2012 1:59 am

I've started HnH 3 days ago, and now I greet you.
I heard of this game by my friend's introduction(Maybe I think I made some grammar error. Sorry for bad English.),
and I decided to play this game.
I like this kind of game(DC,URW,UO,etc...), and I enjoy this game.
Maybe I can't post on here very often, but I'll do it if I can.

Hmm... I'm not very good at English, so I couldn't good expeession for greeting on the Internet.
But I say, nice to meet you every hearthling and noob friends!

Welcome to the game, and enjoy your stay. You're going to die many times throughout your experience, so I hope you can cope to that & adapt.

Hello and welcome to Haven and Hearth.

You seem to have played similar games already, so I hope the harsh environment and the permadeath feature will not hit you too hard. Because you will die sooner or later and it will feel like that was all just so unfair. Take it as a lesson then, dust yourself off and start again.

For further beginners help consult one of the following:

http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19114

If this all doesn't help feel free to make a thread in the "How do I?" section. Note that the game is currently not being developed since the devs are working on a professional project similar to this called Salem and they are also not policing the game at all. So anything that happens is as it is and complaining doesn't help much even when there are some assholes ruining your day.

That being said have a lot of fun and enjoy discovering the good sides HnH has to offer. It can be a very addicting gaming experience.

Welcome to the game :)

Well... I hate it when people just assume that I'm mean and hearth :(. I'm sure a lot of people would rather meet newbies than kill them, even nowadays. And as a newbie, honestly you have so much more to gain by trying to make better-set-up friends in your area than by scurrying around like a mouse. Once you yourself are wearing purple, it pays to be a little more cautious if you're out by yourself.

("wearing purple" refers to Merchants Robes, a nice silk outfit that you can make/trade for)
