Adopt a noob today

Postby hazzor » Mon Jan 23, 2012 11:49 pm

in my adventures i came across a newly spawned player, being the kind and charitable player i am, i asked her if she needed a place to settle, she, not knowing of the dangers of this world, hopped into my boat and we were off back to my love shack in the woods, she made a small house and fence next to my little palisade, since then she's been learning the game from me and i've been accelerating her progression, giving her some equips and what not, but still letting her learn on her own, there are dangers to this independent learning however, she was sadly mauled by a bear whilst exploring, when she reincarnated i asked her where the bear was and set off, sword in hand...

the bear was in what looked eerily like a den, two cliffs running alongside one another, so i fought him there, alongside the corpse of my tamed noob, after killing the beast i returned to her with her gear and the corpse of her foe...

the warm fuzziness of having a pet noob apprentice isn't explainable, so i recommend one to any lonely hermit.

also, keeping my key in my backpack, like a boss

( I decided it was time i stopped abusing alts and played the way i think it's meant to be)
Oh boy, here I go cheesemaking again...

There is nothing quite like the feeling you get when you see your little newbie grow up, when they brag about killing their first bear or when they tame their first animal. For those who are getting a little bored of the daily grind having a few newbie players under your wing will help you see the game again in a fresh and exciting light.
Having a nest of newbies (I think that is the collective term for them) will also make the game more exciting because we all know how easy it is for them to get into trouble, and lets not forget that bears seem to be attracted to Newbies.

Great to see you looking after your new pet, maybe you will get her a friend later on.

the meat hooks are too deep set into my back for me to ever truly leave haven and hearth, they're attached to elastic, the further i go, the more i want to come back
