The pain of starting

Postby Rugila » Sun Feb 05, 2012 8:40 am

You have all probably felt the pain of starting all up again, when your village your where working got raided by some ****** Russian murderers.
Its always hard to put up a single estate, a house, a claim, a farm.. and all that stuff you know!
The thing that makes it harder is that the global chat ain't working anymore.. don't know what has gone on it.
The second thing to make this harder is, i cannot find suitable music for settling.. music that lasts more than 1 minute, so i can build while listening some nice music.
The third thing is, friends need to be gathered all up again, they are cold dead bodies or escaped to wilderness and are middle of nowhere to track.
Losing all the tools, ingredients and raw materials.. building and stuff. Its really tedious to build, rinse and repeat. The personality of this server could be called " The age of murderers "
Where is the reset of server, when we need it? Why can't the server crash, when we need it!

I miss world 3 so much.. had funny, great times with my friends in there.. There weren't so many "baddies"
It was the " Age of moments happiness"

Then somehow we passed over 3 servers.. i lost many times my new plantation, i was just started and the things went, worse and continued to worse.

Anyone has a suggestion, how to solve this problem?

I don't seem to understand what your problem is.

You were raided, you have two options. Rebuild or quit.

Can't find your friends? Ask for them in the forum.

Not having music to listen to is a personal problem. In fact... most of this seems to be personal problems that don't really affect anyone else other than yourself.

Nothing to read here, move along.

Resetting the server wont change the mechanics that are the cause of the current age.

the "murderous" russians are going to rebuild 18 times faster then you even if the world resets so we end up in the exact same situation

ps: most of the people i trade with are russians, turns out none of them are "murderous". this whole "red threath" thing.... isnt like outdated by 30-40years now?

Dwarf Fortress is fun, you fucking moron.

Losing in HnH isn't fun.

I suggest opening a store selling T-Shirts to make people aware of the plight of those with Tourettes.

Here, let me get you started:
