W6 Trailer Contest

Ok, So...I'm still interested in seeing an updated video trailer on the home page.

Those of you from W5 will remember that I tried to get this done then, but with limited results. So, I'm trying yet again. The difference now being I have MUCH better prizes to offer! Also, anyone willing to add prizes to the pool, must be able to deliver them to me, and I will deliver them to the contest winner.

Prizes haven't been totally decided just yet but can include things like High q metal goods, pearls,Curios, bars of precious metals, High q Silk gear, etc... Who knows?! But it'll be some good stuff...I'll say about 2LC worth of Prizes.

I want to see a video that would make me really want to play this game (if I didn't already). A mix of video and still images, not covered with music that really sucks...(disturbed just doesn't fit the bill understand?) Show what all happens in the hearth lands, Hunting, farming, mining, construction, PvP, raids, wagon treks, fishing, etc..

I'll put an approximate contest end date as April 15 2012.

To Submit, Post links in this thread so that others can see your work and comment. Please keep comments civil and constructive. No need to say "it sucks" if you must say so, say why it does and recommend possible solutions. or simply say you don't like it and move on...

Final judgement will be made by me. I will take other votes into consideration however...and If there are more than one really good video I can award more prizes as I see fit.


This time there will be no winners by default...if only 1 video is made and it's just -meh- well I may give ya something for trying..but not the big prizes...

Hi Tonky. Maybe it's the different languages but I don't think things get through to you correctly. Assuming you are talking about me, "I" found Ping Pong blah blah and brought some friends in to share the good fortune, not the other way around. I assure you that but for me, there would have been no raid, regardless, what I'm offering to this contest isn't stolen goods so keep your sniping to yourself please.

Well In w5 I was more hermit than anything else (people kept being gone or quitting etc)... so my prizes were limited. In w6 I have access to lv5 mines, silver, gold, silk, epic q farmed goods, etc...

as to scavenged goods, most of what I personally loot is simply used to make curios...it's rare that I can steal much of any other real value...low q metal, curios, baked goods and cheese are my favorites to take...but hardly prize worthy .

and I don't scavenge what "my pals" raid..I do plenty of raiding on my own tyvm;)

But hey If nobody is interested...No big deal...Just out for a bit of fun.
