A cruel world. (Challenging and Fun.)

So. Got any stories of righteous justice, revenge, redemption, or sheer chaos and destruction in your adventures of Haven and Hearth? I was flipping through a few peoples stories, and I've gotten to enjoy reading them. I am a sucker for revenge and redemption. So if you've got any sweet stories, let's talk about 'em here :)

Personally, I've just gotten a sheer ass kicking by a Russian. We were uhm... Being stupid, to say the least.

Me: Oh dude, a camp, lets check it out!
My friend: ...AIGHT NIGGUH.
<We discover two people.>
Person1: Hello
Me: Hello! Do you speak-a-de-engrish? Well, you do, sweet. Are you guys like, cool? Or...
<I got shot at by the second person, a sling.>
Person2: "russiansymbolshere!!!!!"
Me: O_O DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPP!!!!!
<Myself and my friend dipped to our boat and left.>
Me: Damnit... GAH! Do Russians just have hostile tendencies around here?
My friend: Nah, some are really cool. They either come really hostile, or very friendly.
Me: Hrrm. Well. Let's come back later, I want some sweet revenge. I got shot!

<The next day>

<Myself and my friend were talking to our village Lawspeaker. We talked about it and decided to make a risky move. We would go over there when the Russian time zone was about 3 in the morning, sneak over there and build a Battering Ram. We had it built and ready to break down one of their broken walls, however there was only -one- that was broken and it created the illusion of blending in with rest.>

<The server crashed a few times while the Battering Ram was drying, so it pushed the time frame another 5 or so hours of waiting.>

<Myself, my friend, another friend, and a new villager were all waiting there, the Battering Ram would've been done in like, an hour tops. My friend minimized watching porn, the other friend dicking around, myself teaching the new villager how to play, I heard screams and cries of agony.>

<I ran back from teaching this new villager how to play, to see a Russian in a purple cloak, silent but deadly. He had murdered my friend watching porn,(the one who first discovered the camp with me) knocked out my other friend out, and charged at me. I was so afraid of death (at first I thought I wouldn't care but a voice in my head told me to survive) I disconnected my game. Big mistake. Little did I know y'know, that would knock you out if you were engaged in combat with another player. I logged back in to see my character missing from my screen. I was infuriated but I knew I deserved it from trying to escape death. Lesson learned.>

So pretty much it was a story of Karma. But, whatever. That was when my character had just reached 7 days old, too. He probably became a week old during that last hour. It was a great week I'm not gonna lie, however I am ashamed of how I went out, and I promised I would fight honorably to the death from now on. Me and my friends all remade. Oh, and that guy I was teaching? He RIPPED BALLS out of there. He watched me die, than ran for the freakin' hills.

SO. What's your stories?

I was proud and boasting about getting my first ever d helm and thanes and high q merch to some friends...less than 48 hours later (like 3 hours ago now) they were taken from me by 4 fellows in even better gear :cry: thanks for my life, but im not sure if its worth it seeing how you took my shewbread at 94% :evil:

and thats karma in the hearthlands at work. I shall now never wear anything remotely valuable until i know how to defend it and me

Let us reflect upon the good he was able to do during his short time in the hearthlands.
Let us remind ourselves of his bravery and willingness to fight for the safety of his friends!
Let us hope he can surpass his previous achievements in his future lives.

Poor Ninja! What were you doing?

Also, looking at your location 'outside my window', are these fucking roadworks ever going to shut up? Because that would be nice.

I was digging clay, and yes, those roadworks will end, I told the boys to pack up by 6pm, so they will be out of your hair shortly ;)

What kind of crappy PvP game would this be if you could simply survive combat by disconnecting? What is this? WoW? :P

Your pretty dumb for wanting to seek revenge.

In this World you only do what BENEFITS you and your friends, no emotions attached or the feeling of revenge unless the village is near you and poses a threat and only if you have the ability to wipe out the entire village because if you dont finish the job they will.

But yes lesson learnt, dont worry we all die in this game but take my advice and you wont die as often.
