Strange Coincidence or Strange Cause?

Postby Gaiadin » Tue Oct 06, 2009 6:46 am

The server just crashed. But it wasn't just the server. I was playing H&H on my laptop and it froze, so I immediately tried to load the H&H homepage to check the server status. Firefox gave me the old "Looking for <sitename>..." that generally indicates a connection loss. So I attempted to connect to some other random pages and got the same results, which eventually led to a "No Connection" page.

I checked my desktop and it was the same deal. No connection. So my personal internet connection was lost, and when it came back about two minutes later, the server status says it crashed.

I'm wondering if there is any possible way that the two could be connected either by my lost connection at just the right time screwing something up with the server, or the server's crash somehow affecting my internet connection. It sounds really far-fetched but it was pretty creepy.

Whenever I go on the H&H Wiki, it disconnects my internet for good and I can't connect to any other website or wireless connection.

I end up having to restart :C

I suggest a less shitty browser, learning to configure your connections, or reinstalling your OS, because this is a serious problem.

Unless you're sarcastic of course.

I like the way this development is heading. Maybe loftar should take it up a notch: when you die in-game, H&H formats your hard drive.

Not sarcastic. It's Norton fucking shit up, I hate the bastard child of a program, but I can't remove it. Even when I go to Add / Remove programs in Control Panel. I swear to God, i've removed it nigh on twenty times, yet it still clings on like a fucking hobo person clinging onto your leg.

Also, Potjeh, thanks for the laugh :D
